What is a Typical Day?

 

7:30-8:30am
Early Drop Off- Extended care in the morning is available for parents that need to drop off children at an earlier time. Campers can play indoor games or do a morning art project.

 

8:30-9:00am
Drop Off- Parents/Guardians sign their camper in each morning. Campers will meet with their counselors and the other members of their group in their assigned room. Groups consist of 15 campers and 2 counselors.

 

9:00-12:00pm
Morning fun includes arts & crafts and outdoor games and activities. Campers will meet with the appropriate coach to participate and learn skills for the field sport of the day. The craft activity and outdoor activity will correspond with the theme of the week.

 

12:00-3:00pm
It’s time for lunch!  After lunch the younger group will enjoy quiet time and indoor activities and games. Campers will start rotating over to Seal Swim School for swim lessons, recreational pool activities and games.

 

3:00-4:00pm
Counselors will take their groups outside for a water activity such as the water slide, water relays, and water balloon games. Campers will also be taking part in science experiments and fun projects at this time. Experiments and projects include designing bottle rockets, boats, and airplanes, making silly putty and biomes and much, much more.

 

4:00pm
Dismissal- Parents/Guardians will bring in a picture i.d. and sign the sign in/out form. Parents/Guardians must come inside and check their child out with the camp director or supervisor on duty.

 

4:00-6:00pm
Late Dismissal-Extended care is available for parents who need to pick up their children at a later time.  The campers can play indoor games, do an arts & crafts project, or just watch a movie.
